Call for Applications: Winter Semester Exchange Programme at Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany (2026/2027)
Ruaha Catholic University is pleased to announce two exchange opportunities
for undergraduate students to participate in the Winter Semester Exchange
Programm an der Philipps-Universität Marburg.
Eligible Programmes
Applications are invited from students enrolled in the following programmes:
-Business Administration (BBA, BBAA, BAFIT, BAF, BBM)
-Computer Science (BCS, BCS-SE)
-Mathematics (BSc. Ed. M&IT)
-Education (BAED-Linguistics)
Duration of Exchange
The exchange programme will run for five (5) months, from 1 st October 2026 to 28 th
February 2027.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
-First-year or second-year Bachelor’s degree students;
-Registered in one of the eligible programmes listed above;
-Academically competent and able to represent the university
internationally.
Programme Benefits
The programme will provide financial support covering:
-Tuition fees;
-Monthly stipend;
-Accommodation;
-Air ticket from Tanzania to Germany; Both outbound and return tickets
will be covered
-Local transport in Germany; and
-Health insurance.
Academic and Student Support
Students selected for the exchange programme will have an opportunity to:
-Study in an international academic environment at Marburg University, Germany.
-Attend courses offered in English across different disciplines;
-Improve their German language skills through optional language courses.
-Earn transferable academic credits (ECTS) recognized by the Ruaha Catholic
University;
-Receive academic transcripts upon completion of the programme;
-Access support services related to visa guidance and health insurance.
The programme offers a valuable opportunity for academic growth, intercultural
learning, and international exposure.
Required Application Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
-A motivation letter explaining why they wish to participate in the exchange
programme and how the opportunity will contribute to their academic and
personal development.
-Current provisional academic results.
-A brief biodata/profile (maximum half a page) including personal
information, academic programme, year of study, and contact details.
Only complete applications submitted before the deadline will be considered.
Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted no later than 14th May 2026.
