Overview
Established in 2005, the faculty is a center for ICT innovation and education. It currently hosts approximately 30 academic/technical staff and over 550 students across three departments. The faculty emphasizes practical experience through industrial placements, field attachments, and research-based solutions to computing challenges in Tanzania.

To be a center of excellence in ICT programs by providing modern, relevant, and research-based solutions to computing and ICT problems in Tanzania by 2026.

To cultivate the next generation of leaders in computer science, software engineering, and information technology through quality demand-driven teaching and research.
