About Us

The Library owes its origins to the establishment of the Ruaha University College (RUCO) as a constituent of the St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT - Mwanza) in 2005.
The University became a fully-fledged University- Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) in November 2014,
The University’s existence came about following the Tanzania Episcopal Conference’ (TEC) acquisition of the facilities (buildings and property) owned by what was then, the Dr. Amon Nsekela Bankers’ Academy.
