About the Directorate of Research, Consultancy and Publication

The Directorate of Research, Consultancy and Publication was established with the goal of creating a mechanism for planning, implementing, and monitoring the research process, consultancies and publications at Ruaha Catholic University. It has the responsibility of mapping the processes for identifying the structure and functions of the RUCU community’s needs and priorities in the areas of research, publication and consultancy; this includes research project identification and initiation, preparation and approval of procedures for proposals, funding sources and modes, project control and monitoring, dissemination of research results, and research evaluation. Hence, this directorate intends to serve both internal and external clients and to come up with research standards, which are recognized nationally and internationally. It particularly has to serve members of RUCU staff and students as researchers and evaluators of research presented by undergraduate finalists, postgraduate finalists and fellow members of staff.
The University has mandated the Directorate of Research, Consultancy and Publication to collect, examine, store in a database and publish information relating to research, consultancy and publications.
